Kitchen ghosts: Kitchen, art, garbage, and smell
Our food is natural but the way we ingest it is cultural. The idea of nature is only an updated reflex of already existing cultural ideas on the theme of nature. It seems that our longing for nature is in fact a longing for control over nature – and this claim for power is unbroken and a projection of our love towards nature.
